Jarrett Stidham completed 19-of-38 passes for 214 yards, his lowest completion percentage of the season. The running game is still struggling as Auburn was held below 100 yards for the third straight game. Boobee Whitlow finished the contest with eight carries for 88 yards.

Kevin Steele's defense allowed the Bulldogs to rush for 349 yards, the most under Steele and the most since LSU's 411 in 2015. The unit didn't have an answer for MSU quarterback Nick Fitzgerald, who rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
